Once a project is incorporated into the Resource, it will undergo annual review by the Resource staff to ensure that adequate service/collaboration is being provided and that adequate progress has been accomplished. For collaborative projects, the Resource staff will determine whether there is still substantial intellectual investment on the part of the Resource. If the collaborative project has stopped substantially driving AMS development in the Resource scientific thrust areas, the project may be reclassified.
It is the project principal investigator's responsibility to appropriately acknowledge all data provided by the Resource facility as well as to provide information for our annual report to NIH. The appropriate acknowledgement for the Resource is:
"Work performed (partially) at the Research Resource for Biomedical AMS which is operated at LLNL under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Energy under contract DE-AC52-07NA27344. The National Resource for Biomedical Accelerator Mass Spectrometry is supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) and Biomedical Technology Research Resources (BTRR)."
